Touchdown in Vegas! I’m still in denial that I’ll be racing across America in less the a week. So for now, in excited with fact that my journey to the start line has taken me through Vegas, allowing me a few hours to hit the Strip.
Ornate interiors are the norm… Who needs daylight?!
Sure, I had a few beers, a burger and a steak whilst meandering through the famous sites. But my mind is set on the race start date, and the next few days will see my diet revert to something more sensible, and I’ll even cut out caffeine for a few days before the start of the Race Across America (RAAM).
Months of training and a mountain of logistics behind us. Now just a few thousand miles and a few mountain ranges ahead!
