Photo: Heavy clouds roll over Tianmen Mountain (Tianmenshan) and neighbouring mountains, south of Zhangjiajie before a thunderstorm commences.
Internet access has been patchy, as has the time to provide updates. I am currently 30km north of Zhangjiajie, heading to Hallelujah Mountain in 7 hours, where some of the mountain scenes in Avatar were shot. Unfortunately poor weather is set to continue, but I only need a few minutes of improved visibility to get some decent photos.
