I’m stood by the Acropolis, overlooking Athens as the sun sets behind me. Earlier this afternoon I collected my race goody bag- I was most impressed by the number of shops selling and advertising at the Registration for the Athens Classic Marathon. I’ve started carb loading and am looking forward to an early night, as I’ll be up at 4.30am tomorrow and last night I was kept out in a smoky bar till 4am.. not great before a big race!
