Two flights later I am now in Buenos Aires. I have met up with all bar one of the expedition team destined for Aconcagua. We stopped at a local café for breakfast/lunch, but there’s no time to spend sightseeing as we hop straight back on our minibus to continue our journey from the international to domestic airport (about one hour apart by road).
Our next stop is Mendoza, home of world-famous red wine and the final bit of luxury before we hit Penitentes and on to the mountain.
