Bags are packed, cameras charged; this weekend I’m off to London to spectate and cheer on runners of the 2013 Virgin London Marathon. Given the recent horrific bombing at the Boston Marathon, I think it’s more important than ever for people to continue to participate in such events, as well as to watch and celebrate human achievement.
I for one will be doling out Jelly Babies to participants and cheering on friends who are running. I’m hoping for good conditions for the runners and fans alike. Perhaps next week I’ll post some photographs from the day. Good luck runners!
Keep calm and carry on 🙂
