This is the view from Mam Tor in the Peak District, with a view of the trail to Back Tor and on to Lose Hill. It was my first trip to the Peak District this winter, with a light frost on the northern slopes. The gentle run including stops from Mam Tor to Lose Hill and back took just over an hour, with great 360 degree views. It’s definitely on my list of good local walks, suitable for all the family, with ample car parking and good pubs down in Edale.
